It is great to be back home! But unfortunately it is a little earlier than I had expected. Missing out on the Q-school in the states by 3 shots hurt. I was inside the cut line with nine holes to go and I shot 4 over on my last nine to miss by 3.  However disappointing as it is, I did have a 2nd place in the season ending Tour championships which makes me feel a little better knowing that I had a great result to finish the Gateway Tour season the week before Q-school. Playing the gateway tour this year was a success, having 3 top tens. This includes a win at Desert Mountain in which I won by 8 shots; it was definitely the highlight. It also includes a 2nd in the tour championships.

I have really begun to like the USA more and more and after spending about 4 months this year in the USA I can’t wait to get back there next year and try crack my way into the nationwide tour.

Now that I am home I am looking forward to spending time with my family and friends before I begin to prepare for the summer of golf here in Australia. Currently I will have to qualify for the Australian Masters and NZ Open.  I will be playing the Australian PGA which will be my main focus in preparation.
