Back home to prepare for US Q school

Sunday, September 21st, 2008

I have landed back in Australia from USA for 4 weeks to prepare for the US Tour Qualifying school.

I have been alocated to play in Miami Florida for the 1st stage on the week beginning October 21-24. at a course named Crandon Park, Key Biscayne.

After a mediocre perfromance from me in the last 3-4 events on Gateway tour I am in need of a short break and time with my wife and family, time to take care of my yard and house duties instead of hitting hundreds of balls on the range. It will be a pleasant change.  After all i did play 8-9 weeks in a row.  Something I will not do again in the future. Lesson learned.

That being said I will sit down with coach Kevin Healey and work on some strategies for my Q school preparation. I will  also play few local pro-ams to keep my game and competitive edge in order. One of these pro-ams is held at my home course Robina Woods. I am very excited about playing a tournament here for the first time.  So my time at home will be include some quality practice, time with coach,  a few competitive games of golf and time with family, friends. This sound like I have the right balance and ingredients needed to be rested but also ready to perform at my best in Q school.

until USA..

please keep your head still when putting….
